Hair Cuts

We took the girls to Cookie Cutters to get their hair cut before school. They both sat so well and ended up with some cute little hair cuts :)

We had a great 24th of July! bryce's side of the family was in town and it was great to spend time with them seance we only see them once every 4 or 5 years- We enjoyed a few BBQ's, a greta concert at the conference center and a trip up to Snowbird.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July just as usual! We headed up to Logan for my family traditional breakfast- the kids had a great time playing and it was good to see most of my extended family. Then we headed to Bryce's parents house for a delicious BBQ! What a great day!

Bye Bye Summer!!

I'm a little sad to see summer go- I felt like it went by way too fast and we hardly got to enjoy it!! (it doesn't help that I spent it sick!) We have enjoyed having a pool and the girls loved going as often as we could- Brooklynn became very confident in the pool and Madi enjoyed laying out with mommy- she preferred to sit on the chairs with juice and snacks, my kind of girl!! We loved having BBQ with family and friends and I'm not looking forward to the cold weather just yet!

Madi hit a huge milestone this summer- she finally started walking!!! I can't believe the difference this has made in her! She has changed from the cutest little baby to the cutest little girl! She is so happy to be running around and keeping up with the big kids. It's so fun to see her little personality come out and this little one is fearless!

Her little smile just melts my heart!! She is the sweetest little thing!

She loves to be right in the middle of all the action and loves watching her big sis trying to keep up with her. She loves to play chase, tackle and loves to be tickled and to tickle!

She had developed a very fond love of Mickey Mouse!

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day just as I always do :) I have the best husband and family anyone could ever ask for!! Bryce and Brooklynn made me breakfast in bed and he surprised me with tickets to Abravanel Hall to see an Abba tribute band and had a nice dinner at Tucanos. (of course once again i am horrible at taking pictures and this is the only picture we took) I am so grateful to be blessed with being the mother and wife to the best husband and little girls and to have such a wonderful mother and mother in law!! Happy Mother's Day!!

Memorial Day Weekend

It seems like this summer has just flown by and I have not posted anything! So I have the whole summer to catch up on! starting with Memorial Day weekend we went up to Rupert Idaho where Bryce's grandparents are buried. We haven't been up there to see their graves at all so we thought it would be fun to get away for the weekend and visit. Besides the poring rain and freezing weather we had a great time. Brooklynn enjoyed some swimming in the pool (even though she didn't leave the steps even with all her floatation devices on- she has become a lot more comfortable in the pool swimming all summer)

The girls did great on the long drive up- movies, snacks, and drinks and they were in heaven!

We went and visited Shosone Falls and I couldn't believe how full it was!

I didn't get any pictures of the graves because it was raining/snowing and freezing cold so we weren't there very long but we still had a great weekend with the family!!
