So photogenic!

My sister came over last Friday and took some pictures of Brooklynn for me- they turned out so cute even though she wasn't too happy about being out on the grass- here are a couple of them.

A Day Of Fun Outside

Brooklynn had her first taste of grass and dirt this weekend!  She wasn't so sure about the grass and everytime she would touch it she would cry- She wanted nothing to do with it until she figured out she could pick it and after that she was okay with it.  She had fun playing in the dirt and loved eating it! I was pulling some weeds and looked over and she had a huge mouth full of dirt and mud was dripping all over her! Apparently she thought it was tasty cause when I tried to get it out of her mouth she wasn't too happy with me.  She had so much fun exploring outside and now loves to go play in the grass with Duke and Mookie. 

A Week Of Firsts

Brooklynn had quite the fun week- we stayed down at Bryce's parents house and she got to go for a ride on the tractor (lawn mower) and she had the biggest smile and loved it!  On Tuesday she went in for her first hair cut and it took a little longer than expected cause she kept looking around and watching all the other ladies getting their hair done- she loved spending the day at the salon and was so good waiting a couple hours for me to get mine done. Its good to say the mullet is gone!  She kept playing with her hair all night and felt like a big girl cause she got to have her hair done.  She has learned to go up and down stairs and is so proud of herself that is all she wants to do all day- I turn my head for two seconds and she darts over to the stairs and starts climbing.

Brooklynn's hair is long enough for full pigtails already!! I'm not too sure there are many 10 month old babies that can have full pigtails!  I though she might loose it after she was born but other than one little patch in the back she has kept is all!  She is going in next week to get her first hair cut because it is turning into quite the mullet.  She is starting to turn into quite the girly girl- with loving her baby, she has a fetish with brushes and combs, any kind of jewlery and bows, and not to mention she may have developed her mothers shoe fetish! ( Bryce had better look out she is going to be one expensive little girl!)

Well there hasn't been much going on around here these days...  my little sister has been in town visiting from Washington for her Spring break so it has been fun being able to spend time with her.  We finally made the purchase and got a new couch!  Our old one had a huge hole in the back from where Duke chewed a hole in it when he was a puppy (over 2 years ago)  so we decided it was time to get a new one!  It goes great with the colors in our house and i must say is perfect for cuddling movie time! (I think I was more excited about the than Bryce but at least we can both lay down and actually fit on the couch) Brooklynn is having a ball cruising around the house and being able to do so much on her own.  She is the happiest little girl I have ever seen!  I am finally going to get some new pictures taken of Brooklynn next week so I will get some posted!!
