We had so much fun this past weekend!  On Saturday Bryce went golfing with his dad and brothers for fathers day while I went to a wedding shower with his mom.  Then later that evening everyone went over to his parents house for a bbq.  The kids loved playing baseball in the backyard and Duke and the other dogs had fun chasing them around.  It is always good to get together with the fam and we can always count on having a great time!  Happy Fathers Day Bryce!  We love and appreciate you more than you will ever know!! 

Bryce went to  wake Brooklynn up on Saturday morning so we could get ready to go down to Salt Lake and found her sleeping like this- he just didn't have the heart to wake her up!

Brooklynn has finally discovered the toilet paper roll!  I thought I was good cause she hadn't paid much attention to it until I was cooking dinner one night and I went to check on her and she was having a blast ripping it into pieces.  Now I have to keep the bathroom door closed or thats what she loves to go after!

Over Memorial weekend Bryce and I finally got to go on a vacation alone and enjoy some quality time together.  We drove out to California to visit his cousin and wife and spent 5 days just hanging out and relaxing.  We went to Old Town Sacramento which was really cool- you can find just about any old toys from your childhood there, we went to San Fran and went to Pier 39, and then to Santa Cruz and to the Boardwalk.  Unfortuntely we seemed to bring the bad weather with us so we didn't get too much sun at the beach but enjoyed the wind and cold instead.  We had fun staying up late and playing cards with the thought of being able to actually sleep in as late as we wanted.  We sure missed Brooklynn but we has so much fun being able to take a vacation just the two of us.
