We had such a great Christmas this year! I think it was my favorite one so far :) We were able to have my family come stay with us for it and it just made it that much better. We had a Christmas Eve party at our house with my family then we went to bryce's parents house for Christmas day and dinner.

Brooklynn and her cousin Alliah ( they had so much fun playing together)

everyone getting ready for the Nativity story

Kera, Madi, Kelsey

My mom and the girls made a little paper nativity and they had fun playing and coloring while we played games

This was Madi the whole time! She was just as happy as could be and loved all the noise and people. She finally figured out she was big and could stand, she also thinks she can just take off walking by herself. She will let go of your hands and try to walk- she is getting so big so fast!

Grandma and the girls
They didn't love all this attention at all!

Our Family picture on Christmas Eve

Brooklynn and Daddy looking for Santa's sleigh (too bad it was too cloudy they couldn't see it)

Santa wanted cookies and a maple donut this year!

I think the anticipation of Santa coming this year was hard for Brooklynn. She finally understood it and could hardly wait for Christmas morning!

She got way too spoiled! But it was fun to see all of her excitement.

Madi was pretty excited too

Madi got lots of fun noisy toys! Yay for us :)

It was great to have my parents, little brother and sister there with us on Christmas morning.

Cinderella playing the piano

She is just the happiest little thing!! She would get so excited and start dancing when she would here the music

Santa finally brought a princess tent for Brooklynn- she has been asking for one all year!

The girls laying in the tent together- Madi just loves being big with her sister

This year we really tried to focus more on the true meaning of Christmas and less on the presents- I know this is really hard cause it's so fun to see the kids faces when they open their presents, but we really tried explaining to Brooklynn about the Savior's birth and that we should focus on that and less on all the other things. Hopefully next year she remembers what we have taught her and how much we love our Savior and how grateful we are for Him in our lives.
