This little girl absolutely loves her daddy! Every night before she goes to bed she tells him she is going to "catch" him in the morning before he leaves. The days he is already gone before she wakes up she is not happy! And the days she does catch him she always tells him she doesn't like him to go to work or school. She has got him wrapped around his little finger!

Friend Party

Just before Christmas our great friends we live by all got together and had a little Christmas party. It's always a good time when we get together and we are going to miss them all so much! (we already do!) We had great food, a nice little FHE lesson, and exchanged white elephant gifts. Hopefully we can still get together and enjoy each others company- it's always a great time!!

Christmas 2010!

We had such a great Christmas this year! I think it was my favorite one so far :) We were able to have my family come stay with us for it and it just made it that much better. We had a Christmas Eve party at our house with my family then we went to bryce's parents house for Christmas day and dinner.

This was Madi the whole time! She was just as happy as could be and loved all the noise and people. She finally figured out she was big and could stand, she also thinks she can just take off walking by herself. She will let go of your hands and try to walk- she is getting so big so fast!

I think the anticipation of Santa coming this year was hard for Brooklynn. She finally understood it and could hardly wait for Christmas morning!

She got way too spoiled! But it was fun to see all of her excitement.

This year we really tried to focus more on the true meaning of Christmas and less on the presents- I know this is really hard cause it's so fun to see the kids faces when they open their presents, but we really tried explaining to Brooklynn about the Savior's birth and that we should focus on that and less on all the other things. Hopefully next year she remembers what we have taught her and how much we love our Savior and how grateful we are for Him in our lives.

Thanksgiving in Washington

So we decided this year for Thanksgiving we would make the 12 hour drive up to my parents house in Washington. I was so dreading the drive with the kids however, I think they did better than Bryce and I! Brooklynn, colored and watched movies the whole time, and Madi took little cat naps and barely made a peep! I couldn't believe how good they did especially since we woke them up at 4 am to leave. Brooklynn was so excited she practically jumped out of bed when we told it it was time to go and maybe slept a total of 30 min the whole drive. Once we made it there we had so much fun just hanging out and having nothing to worry about! Here are some things we did...

went roller skating- Brooklynn I think did better than Bryce :) although he was starting to get he hang of it just before we left.

We got so spoiled up there and we were so lucky to get to spend a while week just hanging out and enjoying some quality time with them. Thanks mom and dad and kelsey for letting us come crash your house!!

The Love Of My Life!!

I'm going to take a minute to brag about the amazing husband that I have! This year we celebrated our 5 year anniversary and I can't believe it's already been that long! Ever since I've known Bryce he has always gone above and beyond and this year it was no different. We spent the weekend down in Salt Lake just the two of us. We actually surprised each other with gifts (which never happens) and spent a few days just enjoying our alone time, eating yummy food and chocolate covered strawberries- yummy! We did a little shopping and he surprised me with a day at the spa! I am so lucky to have him in my life and to be the father of my children! He is so kind and loving and can always bring a smile to all of our faces.

I am so lucky to have him as my best friend and to be together for all eternity! He is always there for me and there to support me. I love that he is always helping me out with the kids and around the house with out me even having to ask :) I love how he treats me like I am his one and only and is always spoiling me!

I love how this little girls looks up and admires him as her daddy. She is always following him around and copying what he does. She wants to be just like him and I love to sit and watch it :)

I love that he is always making special time to spend with us as a family and especially making time for his little girls!

I love that he is such a hands-on dad. I love that he loves to play and cuddle with his girls and I can just see the love they have for him.

I love that these little girls just melt his heart! You can already see they have their daddy wrapped around his finger- and he's okay with that!

Thank you sweetie for always being there, loving us, and all that you do for us! I love you with all my heart and will always love and support you for all time and eternity!

Madi Bug!

I can't believe Madi is already 7 months! Time has just flown by and she is growing so fast! She is such a happy little baby! She absolutely LOVES her love and attention! If you walk by and say hi and don't pick her up she screams and cries until you pick her up and give her some love :) She still loves to snuggle with you. She loves her baths and splashes water everywhere! She is eating all her baby food and has decided she doesn't like carrots, green beans, and peas so I have to sneak them in her fruits. She LOVES music and loves to be up and dancing! She seems to have no interest at all to crawl, all she wants to do is be up and walking. She still adores her big sis and watches everything she does, you can tell she can't wait to be big so she can play with her. She is the cutest little thing and we are so happy to have her in our home and part of our lives!
