Brooklynn absolutely LOVES her new baby sister! She is such a big helper and loves to hold her and play with her. She was so excited to come see her and realized she wasn't in my belly anymore. She is such a mild baby (so far). She hardly ever cries and if she does it for no more than a couple seconds. We are so glad to have her join our family!

All About My Little Girl!

This post is going to be all about my sweet little girl! (most f them are anyways) I can't begin to describe how much we love her and the joy she brings into out lives! She know how to make you smile and the right moments to come and give you a big hug and tell you she loves you. She is the sweetest little girl and is going to make the best big sister.

She has been so cute with the baby- she loves to come and give me a love and kiss and rub my belly, she is always telling me she loves her baby sister and loves talking and singing songs to her. She is so excited for her to come out- I think we all are!

Brooklynn wanted me to take some pictures of her today- first she had to have her fingernails and toenails painted, then she had to put a "pretty skirt" on, and she had to wear her sandals so you could see her pretty toenails. She is definitely all girl!

Brooklynn has become quite the little 2 1/2 year old lately! She has figured out she can be very independent and wants to do everything all by herself! Which includes dressing herself- in nothing but skirts and dresses! It is a fight to get her into pants or to keep tights or leggings on! She takes them off and when I ask her where she put them she said she got peepees on them or she is cooking them. She has also started a little sock collection in her drawer where she hides them so I can't put them back on her. She is so funny and keeps us laughing.

House Full Of Girls!

So I'm pretty just about everyone knows but just in case you didn't- we are expecting baby number 2! Another little girl! I'm due May 16th and her due date is about a week before Brooklynn's birthday so it is perfect timing for clothes and everything. Brooklynn understands more than I thought and is really excited to have a little baby sister. She always runs up and pats my belly and tells the baby to "come on out!" We are so thrilled and Bryce gets to be in a house full of girls! Lucky him!

Christmas Day!

Christmas was so much fun this year! We were so excited to give Brooklynn her stuff and couldn't wait to see her reaction. We were the ones up early waiting for her- i'm not sure who was more excited her or us. She screamed when she saw her kitchen cause she was so excited she finally had her own kitchen to play with.

Her "pink princess kitchen" from santa- she kept saying he was going to bring her one and he did!

She wore her dress ups all morning and still loves to wear them all day!

She loves to draw and color and i am paranoid about her coloring on her and things so this is the best thing ever!

We had a great week filled with family and parties. It was alot of traveling and we were so exhausted by the time it was over but it was great to have my family here from Washington and to spend time all together and enjoy the holidays.
