4th of July

This year we spent the 4th at home for the first time ever and it was kinda nice not having to worry about going anywhere- we got to spend the day relaxing (well Bryce was doing some yard work so he didn't get to relax too much)  then we went and got some snow cones, had a little bbq, and set off some fireworks.

Bryce and I had the chance to enjoy a nice little trip to Las Vegas a couple weeks ago just the two of us.  He had to go down there for work so I tagged along and enjoyed a little relaxation.  He was only gone for a 3-4 hours a day so I went and layed by the pool and snuck in a few naps while he was gone and he was back in time for us to go  on  a few date nights.  We had a lot of fun but didn't take hardly any pics so this is about all we.  It was so much fun to have time for just the two of us- it felt like we were dating again.  Although we certainly did miss our little one it was a lot of fun so thanks sweetie for taking me with you!! I love you and you are the best!

Some of our friends invited us to go up to Bear Lake with them this past weekend and we had so much fun!  The weather wasn't too great (we had to out run a hue storm on the lake)  but it was still fun to go up and relax and just hang out  with friends for a couple of days.  Brooklynn loved going on the boat and thats all she could talk about was the boat and the water.  We had alot of fun wakeboarding and riding on the boat.  We got back later on sunday so poor Bryce didn't get much of a fathers day so I tried to celebrate it on monday instead-  I just want to let bryce know what an amazing husband and father he is and how much we love and appreciate everything he does for us!

Brooklynn was suppose to be taking a nap the other day and I could hear her in there giggling- I opened the door and this is what I saw- she was so excited to show me her hat! I couldn't help but laugh!

We randomly decided to add another dog to the family so Ace is dog number 3! He was just too cute we had to bring him home.  Brooklynn was so excited to bring him home and have him as her little pet. She had been really good  and loves to play with him.  He is such a  mellow puppy  and we are excited to add him to the fam.

Sorry there are alot of pics!  This was Friday on her actual birthday- Bryce surprised her with a new bike- she loves it!














I can not believe my little girl is already 2!!  The time has just flown by! She has gotten so big and has turned into quite the little jabber box.  She is putting sentences together and repeating everything you say- she sure keeps us laughing all the time! We had a great weekend with both sides of the family and Brooklynn was lucky enough to celebrate her birthday for 4 days!! She got so spoiled by everyone!  My parents and family can from Washington for a few days so it was nice to have them here to celebrate her birthday.  On Monday Bryce and the boys all went golfing and we has a bbq down at his parents house.  It was a lot of fun!
